  • I suffer from a mild form of Muscular Dystrophy, known as facioscapulohumeral dystrophy (FSHD) which is selective wasting and weakness of certain muscles, weakness around the right scapular and external rotation of the right shoulder and arm, which made it difficult to raise my right arm and lift heavy items. Lea tailored a weight training programme to compensate for my muscle weakness. I found this type of exercise really helped improve my muscle strength to where I can no raise my right arm above my head and once again lift heavy items. Together with improvement of muscle strength I found my posture as also benefited. I look forward to my training sessions with Lea, who really understands all aspects of physical training and have found her ability to motivate equal to her training skills. In summary, "it works for me!!" Pam Pam, 69 yrs
